Salary: $86,875.5 - 104,032.5 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates with Alaska residency and the ability to work full time in a flexible hybrid arrangement.
• We need experience or training in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a related discipline.
• We are looking for hands-on knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware, protocols, and scripting or automation tools.
• For the IT System Administrator 1 level, we value competency in hardware, infrastructure design, operating systems, and systems integration.
• For the IT System Administrator 2 level, we additionally look for experience in systems testing and evaluation.
• We prefer familiarity with object technology, computer languages, database management systems, and enterprise IT environments.
• We require the ability to demonstrate qualifying competencies through work history, volunteer service, training, education, licenses, certifications, or equivalent professional experience.
• We require transcripts or other education verification when post-secondary education is used to meet minimum qualifications.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain the security clearance needed to use APSIN.

• We support, release, update, and oversee the full lifecycle of the myAlaska mobile application and other statewide enterprise applications.
• We maintain app store presence, compliance, performance, and release activity reporting.
• We partner with business analysts, project managers, contractors, security staff, and leadership to gather requirements and turn them into mobile and enterprise solutions.
• We test, validate, troubleshoot, and coordinate certification activities to ensure release readiness across environments.
• We administer the supporting infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, identity services, databases, operating systems, and cloud-native components.
• We document system configurations, release procedures, and technical decisions to strengthen continuity and knowledge sharing.
