Wiser Wealth Academy is the development company behind AFM.Money, a consumer personal financial management and wealth-building application built by Fintomic. AFM.Money is preparing for release, and before it reaches the public we need people to break it.
We are hiring five QA and Beta Testing Interns for a 90-day paid engagement. No programming experience is required. We are asking you to use a financial application the way a real person would, notice everything that is confusing, broken, slow, or wrong, and write it down clearly enough that an engineer can act on it.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work through the AFM.Money interface across its major workflows, evaluating usability from the perspective of an ordinary person trying to manage their money. When you find a problem, you will file it as a structured defect record in Fintomic Projects, our internal project management platform. Each record needs a clear title, reproduction steps precise enough that someone else can follow them, expected versus actual behavior, severity, and a screenshot.
HOW WORK AND PAY ARE STRUCTURED
Work is assigned as discrete projects. Each project comes with a defined scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, a deadline, and a stated fee agreed before you begin. You choose when and how you work on it. When you deliver and we confirm the work is complete, the full project fee is paid by ACH. A typical project of about 10 hours pays 200 to 300 US dollars depending on complexity. Across the full 90-day engagement, expect roughly 2,400 to 3,600 US dollars. This is a fixed-fee arrangement, not an hourly wage.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Currently enrolled students or recent graduates in computer science, information technology, information systems, or any related field. No programming skills needed. What matters is patience, curiosity, and the ability to write clearly.
REQUIREMENTS
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Physically located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Able to complete an IRS Form W-9 and receive payment by ACH to a US bank account. 18 years of age or older. Willing to sign an independent contractor agreement including confidentiality and intellectual property terms. Reliable computer, internet connection, and either an iOS or Android device. Approximately 10 hours per week of availability.
TERMS
This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, not employment. 90-day term. Fully remote, United States only.
